At 42 I've just learned about aphantasia, now 46 I've become intrigued in all aspects. I have the most extreme sense of aphantasia. I'm mostly interested in the relationships with other people. I often find people emotionally I inept and hard to connect with them. I have 5 sons, one of which is like me and we share a stronger relationship then I have with anyone else. Could it be because of our unique brains?

On the verge of sleep

I have absolutely zero imagery at any time. Remembering numbers is my weakest skill. Being a welder of 25+ years I have to have a note pad with my different processes and materials for my range settings as the vary greatly. I used to remember phone number by pattern rather than the actual number. Now with smart phones I have completely lost this skill. I feel I was better for haveing it.
