I was beginning to think authors were paid by the word🤣 I prefer nonfiction and murder mysteries to fiction. I don’t care what color the wallpaper is. Skip all the descriptive crap of no interest. I read constantly and love it. I don’t seem to read words… sort of clumps or concepts. Have been reading since age three.

Visual only but complete never had. I hear music in my head and it is as performed that I have heard. I remember tastes and the feeling if things like velvet. I also have a talking idiot in my head that won’t shut up and has opinion on everything. I wish she would move out. Would trade them for visualization.

Total lack of mind’s eye, but dream in full color very vivid dreams. Dreams are so real they seem like I am awake. Can only remember briefly when awaken. But no matter how hard I try I can’t see my dear deceased husband in my imagination. Sad.

Have always know that I have no mind’s eye. I thought people were just making it up or weird. I didn’t know until in my 30’s that I was the weird one. Age 78, no mind’s eye at all. Vivid colorful dreams very lifelike. I find aphantasia to be a problem in life and a disadvantage. So many places where we just assume people have a mind’s eye. Just do this math problem in your head.
