Hi Liana, I'm actually shaking as I write this, as I very much resonate with your experience. I realized I have aphantasia last year at age 49 and very recently found out that my two favorite people, my sister and my husband, have hyperphantasia! I'm still trying to navigate my feelings around all of this, but it also makes SO much sense as I think about my sister and I's experiences growing up and also think about my 18 year marriage to my best friend and partner!
