You know, the ones where if you stare at it long enough and the image appears? I've NEVER been able to see one of those to this day. I was getting assessed for Lasik and I couldn't pass the tests to even get assessed. The doc called me an "uber focuser." He told me to go home and practice looking at those mystery images. It didn't work. Now I'm wondering if it has something to do with the electrical firing or lack there of. Thoughts on this? I took the quiz and I'm definitely hypophamtasic. I read your article in the Yoga Therapy Today, thank you for that. It explains so much why I've always gravitates away from guided meditations (unless it be a body scan because that I can feel in real time). Personally I can feel what gratitude might feel like welling up in my body. And I can feel perhaps a semi sense of light pulsating if only it be matched to the sensation of my breath moving my hands or belly. And as a yoga therapist I often shy away from giving to many visual cues or offer up variations for those that aren't so "visual." Thank you for shedding light on what I felt was just my lack. Feeling more whole.
