I can dream with image and colors and it’s amazinz but i often  struggle to remeber my dreams after waking up. In particular it happens that i dream woke up and fall asleep again having another dream forgetting the previous one

Actually i'm quite sure i can dream both visually and non visually, the reason why is as easy as this: one of the best feeling in my life was dreaming of me being in a forest full of vivid colors (something similar to the environment of the film Avatar) and secondly because when i dream visually i remeber colors that's how i can swear i was able to do something i could never do while asleep!

As you said it's like an audiobook but in my case i can't even sense/imaagine smells and texture or voices, honestly, this is the wrost part of my aphantasia spectrum. All in all i used to call my daydreaming : ''thinking'' or ''distracting''
