Completely agree that we can describe things in the way a visualiser can, and I can give directions with great detail, spell out long words, remember places and events as if I can see them when recounting to another, but does my brain need an image somewhere to do this any more than a computer needs an image? I don’t know - sometimes it does feel as if an image might be lurking somewhere, but darned if I can see it!
