Hmmm I tried it and like you I had no image of my face whatsoever. I am on the “seeing nothing but blank” end of the spectrum so I guess that makes sense. When I try to picture the front of my house, I “know” how it looks and what’s there, the glass front door, the steps up, the bushes and all, but I don’t see them.

I definitely have the feeling that an image is there that I can’t see and yet I can still describe it. I have a good sense of direction and I give directions the way I’d think a visualizer would. I tend to say turn right at the big white church vs head north on Main St.
